MATCHING EXELOO CONVENIENCE WITH ARCHITECTURAL VERSATILITY

Exeloo Self-Managing Public Toilet Units have the flexibility to be matched with a vast variety of exterior designs to blend into street and landscapes. A part from a number of factory installed roof, exterior cladding and front façade options the modular design of Exeloo units allows for almost any architectural designed on site modification. The modular design allows Exeloo units to be incorporated into new building structures as well.

FURTHER IMPROVEMENTS TO THE VANDAL RESISTANCE OF EXELOO

At Exeloo we are constantly looking to improve our product. As improvements are made we incorporate them into new units. A recent improvement is the indicator lights and basin module sensors. The new lights and sensors have vastly improved heat and impact resistance. These are now standard on new units and available for retro-fit on existing units.

In new units we offer an optional improved fire management system. Additional water spray nozzles are installed in the area of the concealed sanipad disposal unit and sharps disposal unit. The partition between cubicle and service bay is steel lined to improve the fire rating. Once the smoke and fire alarm is activated the Exeloo units goes immediately into a wash cycle to fight the fire with the help of the additional water spray nozzles. An optional modem is available to report any fire alarm via a phone line directly to the authorities.

SELECTING SAFE SITES FOR PUBLIC TOILETS

As is the case with any public facility, effective location of public toilets is extremely important to provide a safe and user-friendly facility. Important factors such as ease of access, vandalism, crime and most importantly public safety must be considered in selecting a suitable site

To achieve safety for the public it is better to install public toilets in a clearly visible location, which is close to areas involving high public use, such as bus stops, taxi stands, major intersections etc. Similarly public toilets in parks, at beaches and foreshore areas are best positioned in locations providing a high level of visibility rather than in remote areas hidden from the general view.

Failure to recognize the need for correct position and access to the building can increase damage to the building and fixtures through vandalism. Likewise it may result in inappropriate use of the facility such as drug use, prostitution and other crime. It also results in a decline in the value of the asset both in terms of dollars and levels of proper public use.
